The Committee for Earth Observations has formed a Land Product Validation Subgroup. Within that subgroup several teams have been established which develop recommendations and best practices for a given data product. The current chairs of the Land Product Validation / Land Surface Temperature and Emissivity (LPV/LSTE) subgroup are Simon and Jose.
